Coalville Festival of Music

The Coalville Festival of Music celebrated its 25^th Anniversary at the 2008 Festival.  The event culminated in a Festival Concert held on Friday 6^th June when winners and participants in classes at the Festival performed their respective pieces.  The Concert included a wide range of classes and the packed audience was given an exciting programme of entertainment including vocalists and pianists, music from Mozart and west end musicals and ended with an entertaining selection from a Barbership Quartet.

The Festival’s President, David Taylor MP, compered the evening and thanked not just the participants of the Concert but also the parents and teachers who have given their support over the years.

Look out for details of the 2009 Festival that will take place on 9^th and 16^th May next year.  Details
will be released in the autumn.
